Announcement:
IJPSP Candidate / Student Essay Award Contest

The International Journal of Psychoanalytic Self Psychology is pleased to announce the creation of its new, annual psychoanalytic candidate/student essay award. This award contest is open to all psychoanalytic candidates and graduate level students from any discipline writing on psychoanalytic topics. Essays need to be written in English, should be no longer than 7500 words, and must be submitted by June 1, without exception.

The winner of the contest will be announced in October of each year at the International Conference on The Psychology of The Self, beginning in 2012. The winner will receive a plaque, consideration for publication of their essay in the IJPSP, and an honorarium of $500.00.

Candidates/students interested in entering the contest for the year 2012 must submit essays to IJPSP_Essay_Award@iapsp.org by midnight, PST, June 1, 2012. Please include a cover letter that specifies the title of the essay, the author's name, and his or her contact information.
