2011 CALL FOR PAPERS
The 34th Annual International Conference on The Psychology of The Self: "The Influence of Attitude in Psychoanalysis" will be held in Los Angeles, California, Thursday through Sunday, October 13-16, 2011. Plan to join us for an exciting conference featuring Panel Workshops and Master Classes, as well as major Panel Presentations, Faculty and Audience discussion, Meet the Author and Original Papers and Workshops.
The International Council of the International Association for Psychoanalytic Self Psychology (IAPSP) invites all interested professionals to submit papers to be considered for inclusion in the Workshops and Original Paper Sessions and Panel Workshops and/or Master Classes at this conference. Papers and workshops must be relevant to Self Psychology and Psychoanalysis. These workshops and paper sessions are scheduled for one and one-half hours, which will include the actual presentation and a discussion by a faculty member and the audience. The paper may be up to 18 pages, double-spaced, with the font to be no smaller than 12 point, and with 1 ¼ inch margins on all four sides. If your paper is accepted, we will ask that the final presentation be limited to 30 minutes.

Please call Nilou Mostofi with any questions regarding the submission process. Due to time constraints, papers submitted after April 11th WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
In addition to your paper, please submit the following materials:
1. Call for Papers Cover Sheet (electronic version available at www.iapsp.org)
2. One Paragraph Abstract and Three Educational Objectives for your presentation. (Items should be on the same page and must be typed.)
3. Brief Curriculum Vitae (no more than 2 pages)
Due to accreditation application requirements, all of these materials must be submitted in order for your paper to be reviewed. We regret that papers submitted without all of the above items cannot be considered for review. All submitted papers will be reviewed by the Paper Committee. Authors will be notified of the Committee's decision by early-May 2011. Paper and Workshop sessions are limited by space availability.
